Superheroes are weird. Between a mutate with spider powers, a billionaire who dresses up like a giant talking bat, and a rabid man with gigantic claws and near-immortality, superheroes tend to be some of the strangest characters in fiction. It certainly doesn't help that they get their powers from radioactivity, mutation, or even just money.
