The first season of House of the Dragon was, for all intents and purposes, a huge success. The Game of Thrones prequel series has begun to adapt the Dance of the Dragons arc from George R. R. Martin's book Fire & Blood, sticking faithfully to the source material while still serving some appropriate surprises.
