The marriage of George Sr. and Mary Cooper suffered a lot of strains in the fifth season of Young Sheldon, the prequel and spinoff of The Big Bang Theory. This has left fans waiting for George to eventually stray from his marriage as the older Sheldon said he did on Big Bang, Season 10, Episode 5, "The Hot Tub Contamination." At the age of 13, Sheldon walked in on his father and a woman who he did not recognize as his mother.
