Liverpool duo Tyler Morton and Harvey Elliott lit up Goodison Park on Tuesday night as England U21s secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Northern Ireland U21s in their UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying match.
Morton, who is currently on loan at Hull City, marked his first start for the Young Lions with the opening goal, hammering home a powerful half-volley from distance. His Liverpool teammate Elliott then took center stage, netting a brace with a well-placed free-kick and a fine chip after darting behind the Northern Irish defense.

The victory sees England U21s maintain their second-place position in Group F, three points behind leaders Ukraine. The Young Lions will be hoping to close the gap when they face Ukraine in their next qualifying match in October.
