In the much-anticipated Predator comic, Marvel's truly subverting the lore by making the Yautja the hunted. It shocked fans who expected the Predator to be stalking humans and other targets, much like how Dark Horse Comics and movies depicted over the decades. Instead, Ed Brisson wanted to change things up, showing the Yautja there could be a new alpha on the battlefield.
