In the world of Japanese anime, there can only be so much screen time for each character, and as expected, the protagonist will get more screen time than anyone else. Shonen leads like Naruto, Ichigo and Luffy appear all the time and get many chances to show off their combat moves and develop their personalities, but this means other heroes get less time to shine.
