Town Life vs Country Life
Town life is very pleasant and comfortable to the rich. They (rich) can enjoy various sorts of facilities there. In towns there are opportunities for modern amenities. There are modern and developed educational institutions modern and well-equipped hospitals for medical treatment, cinema halls and theatres, art galleries for entertainment.
Life in a town is not an unmixed blessing. Life in a town is very hard, complex, fast and mechanical. Man becomes self-centred and selfish in a town. There is filth all around in a town. The town is full of noises and dust. There is also uncertainty, anxiety and tension in town life. There is a sort of care-free life in a village. Life is peaceful and tranquil. A man can enjoy fresh air, eat fresh milk and vegetables here which is not at all available in a town.Life in a village has many disadvantages. There are no centres for learning and medical centres for medical treatment and care. Facility for entertainment is very rare in villages. Life here is very slow and dull. But there is communal harmony and good social relation among the villagers. They have got fellow-feelings. One comes to the help of another in time of one's danger or crisis. Life is not hard and complex here. Rather life is very simple here. People sometimes have to experience natural calamities like flood, cyclone, drought etc. Their crops are very frequently damaged by such calamities. Besides, the people in village sometimes become victims of various diseases like cholera, malaria, dysentery etc. Both village life and town lifwe have their own advantages and disadvantages. We like towns for comforts and facilities for education, medical treatment and also for recreation. We also love villages for peace and tranquillity. We can not go with one; without the other.
